Supporting research and education
We have research projects in progress on aspects of pancreatic and liver cancer. These require funding for salaries and laboratory equipment. We also hold and attend educational meetings. We would be grateful for your support in carrying out this work.Contributions of any size are welcome. For example, £100 may allow us to buy a subscription to a medical journal, £500 may allow a trainee to attend a research conference, £5000 may cover the cost of laboratory consumables for a research project, and £30,000 may pay a research fellow’s salary for a year.
If you would like to support these aspects of our work, you can do so by sending in a contribution to the Liver and Pancreas Fund. This is held under the auspices of the Barts and the London Charity, which is a registered charity overseen by a Board of Trustees (Registered charity number 212563). Please remember to make your cheque payable to Barts and the London Charity, Fund No. 01288, and to enclose a completed Gift Aid form, which you can download by clicking the icon on the left that says Gift Aid. Please mail your contribution with a covering letter, marked for the attention of any one of the Consultant Surgeons at the HPB Surgery Unit, Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel, London E1 1BB.
